Two websites to enhance and promote the territory and its beauties. Campo di Giove connects with the online world and vice versa, with the presentation of the websites www.juan-carrito.it and www.visitcampodigiove.com. The curtain was raised on Saturday, in the conference room of Palazzo Nanni, in the event moderated by Massimiliano Melilli.
Carmelo Nastri, who collaborated in the realization of the project, and Mattia Del Mastro, City Councilor with responsibility for Tourism, accompanied the public in the discovery of the functionality of the sites and the potential that they offer to attract visitors and promote sustainable tourism.
The two sites presented are connected by clicking on their respective logos, a synergy that amplifies the communicative potential of both. Creating a network and increasingly involving local entities to expand the experience of the tourist or, better, as Carmelo Nastri likes to define it, of the traveler is the goal of the sites.
During the meeting, the Mayor Michele Di Gesualdo, the Deputy Mayor Manuela D’Amico and the Councilor Mattia Del Mastro, curator of www.visitcampodigiove.com, spoke, who underlined the importance of the project and how it represents only the beginning of a series of collaborations for the future
In the introduction, a thought was addressed in memory of Fulco Pratesi, father of Italian environmentalism, founder of WWF ITALIA who recently passed away, thanks to him ecology entered the homes and hearts of Italians becoming the guide for an entire generation of naturalists.
The first site, www.juan-carrito.it, is dedicated to raising awareness for cohabitation between man and wildlife, to the promotion of the territory and the dissemination of events, a collector that intuitively and quickly creates contacts with the wonderful realities of nature and places with a simple click, available in Italian and English, a contribution and an initiative in support of a territory and its people to which I feel deeply connected explains Carmelo Nastri.
The other web page, www.visitcampodigiove.com, is the official tourist site created by the Municipality of Campo di Giove, where visitors can find all the useful information to plan their visit, exploring the naturalistic beauties (including the Sentiero Dell’Orso), cultural and gastronomic of the town, local traditions and scheduled events.
“This project represents a novelty and an extraordinary human experience, it is only the beginning of a series of collaborations that will see our territory as a protagonist also on a digital level” declared Mayor Michele di Gesualdo and Deputy Mayor Manuela d’Amico.
