Campo di Giove is preparing for an important event with the official presentation of two web portals: www.visitcampodigiove.com and www.juan-carrito.it. The event will be held on Saturday 1 March 2025 at 5:30 pm at the historic Palazzo Nanni, in the heart of the town.
The website www.juan-carrito.it, created by Carmelo Nastri, is dedicated to the memory of Juan Carrito, the Marsican brown bear who has become a symbol of coexistence between man and nature and is designed to offer a broad overview of locations, nature reserves, parks and every other cultural element that distinguishes the Abruzzo region. One of the main purposes of the site is to stimulate the curiosity of travellers and invite them to connect to the many realities of Abruzzo with a simple click.
The website www.juan-carrito.it is a non-profit organization and has received the free patronage of the Province of L’Aquila, 18 municipalities, 4 nature reserves, 4 cultural associations, the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy Abruzzo and Molise, the Alto Sangro Ski Pass Consortium, Maiella Madre Green Community, the online newspaper Abruzzo Post, all reachable by clicking on each individual logo or entry on the website.
The website www.visitcampodigiove.com is a project created by the Municipality of Campo di Giove and was created with the aim of promoting tourism and enhancing the naturalistic, historical and cultural beauties of Campo di Giove, reporting tourist routes and reception services.
Local authorities, Carmelo Nastri and other local associations will speak during the presentation, the meeting will be an opportunity to discover the functionality of the sites, share ideas and start new collaborations for the sustainable and tourist development of the area.
As Carmelo Nastri explains, the synergy between the Municipality of Campo di Giove, www.juan-carrito.it and www.visitcampodigiove.com is realized by networking with each other with free mutual promotion.
